What funny assumptions/theories did you have when you were young?

I thought that a sandwich was an actual witch that hid in the sand at the beach 😂.
That people in their 40s and 50s were really old. Now that I'm here, I realize how silly that was.
@DreamyCrush In 1968, the teacher asked us if we could figure out how old we would be in the year 2000. I calculated that I would be 40 and thought, “that’s so [b]old[/b] ! Will I still be alive ?”
18 years later, not only am I still alive, but my parents are, too ! 😅

I used to think the woods near my house was haunted. The slightest noise or wind sent my running home as fast as i could. 😅
