Will house prices rises considerably in 20 years?

Due to overpopulation

On statistical average, as low as 2% annually to as high as 9% annually. But location is key. Avoid homes that are not serviced by city water/sewage or natural gas. Avoid condos. Avoid houses that are built on rented land, meaning that you own the house but not the land under the house.

In many cities, housing prices will rise because the town planning board will not allow any further urban sprawl to occur, thereby leaving a housing shortage. This means that if you want a new house, you will have to buy an old house and tear it down to build on the old lot. It also means that traditional housing builders cannot then buy up a large chunk of land and start building homes in many cities, thereby increasing the urban sprawl. The home builders then end up holding onto that land indefinitely, which may cause some builders to sell off that land or get stuck with it. This means that the only choice for a builder is sometimes to go 'up'... as in, high rise condos. Avoid condos... they are not a good investment.

I imagine so, but I think everything else will see inflation too. I know my dad’s home has gone up tremendously over the last 50 years, but so has the price of groceries, gas, minimum wage, etc.

In five years most people will be starving. If your house cost $100 no one could afford it.

Probably. My best friend says to buy vacant land and build my own home like she did. She's really smart and getting very rich.

The real estate bubble is already showing signs of bursting. It's a sellers market atm that's driving prices down. Overpopulation won't be a factor for another 100 years at least.
