Why do laptop makers all seem to put the cooling vents on the underneath?

@FairyGirlGemma All modern Lenovos have their vents on the side! At least from 2015 onwards. I know dis because we have them all at work :D
Don't really matter when the vent is though because they get hot all over 😏

@GermanAf Not this one, the fan's on the bottom and the exhaust is by the screen. It's a 2019.
