I collect for some years now!

I am collecting movies for quite some time now. Over ten years, I'd guess. A few years back I realised, that I was just buying and buying while not really selecting, so my collection would reach a certain quality at some point in time. Therefore I got rid of a lot of movies, which I wouldn't watch as frequent or simply bought to try out and never watched again. I always thought of a doomsday collection, all the films I wanna spend the end of time with. So I started to choose carefully, only buying favorites or essentials. Boutique labels became bigger, so I started frequenting Arrow Video, Criterion, Eureka Entertainment and most recently Indicator or Powerhouse Entertainment, which became my favorite of the bunch! Currently my collection contains something around 800 movies. Although I gotta admit, that black friday and similar sale circumstances kinda oversaturated my collection again, with movies I just wanted to see, and therefore bought cheap. So I gotta get rid of some unnecessary weight. As I want to be more active on SW I will try to frequently post movies from my collection, to hopefully show some movies people might find interesting and want to try out, or just to have a nice little talk about them. Right now this "I Collect Movies-community" is rather small, but maybe we get it to double digits :) Have a nice day, best wishes, L.
