I Like Technology

I am becoming more tech savvy and I am learning digital skills as an aspiring techie. I am in enrolled in an online coding school called skillcrush its mission is to help women have skills to get into tech industry. I am taking the break into tech blueprint. I am learning HTML, CSS first and then git, github, command line. Then after the basics I can create my personalized lessons structure: I plan on learning visual design including branding and identity design, responsive web design and User experience, front end development ( JavaScript, jquery) back end development such ruby, Ruby on Rails, active record and Sinatra. Also I will learn Wordpress as well as freelancing professional best practices. This takes a few months to a year. The lessons are self paced and structured. It's coding and technology training for beginners. I have had a positive experience with the staff and instructors so far and we even use slack ( collaboration tools) and zoom conference video chat systems . This was so much better than any traditional school I went to let me tell you and it's actually fun also they have some great text editors to choose from such as atom sublime or visual studio.
