we lost our apartment our landlord didnt pay hee taxes on it for more than 5 years a guy came over and said he bought the place we thought we had 90 days to move out turns out he wants us out by next week馃槚馃槶馃槶馃槶馃槶

@Introvert21 Hopefully someone in your family can get more information from someone who is familiar with the laws in your area, like Legal Aid. At least they can find out what rights your family has.

The new owner of the building is still liable for the rental agreement you signed. If it says you have to have 90 days notice, he has to give you 90 days notice. Of course, the cost and trouble of taking him to court likely would be more of a hassle than finding some place new in a week.

Little late but, it takes months to evict. Tell him you're happy to move along but that he needs to be more reasonable. You didn't do anythign wrong and one week isn't enough time to do anything. 馃檮
