I Like Someone At Work

Personally, I never really allowed myself to interfere with someone I like at the work place. I won't name names but she is very cute and pretty. Met her a week ago and I want to take things slow but at the same time I feel like I shouldn't do anything because of how awkward it would feel for me and for her if something would eventually happen. In all honesty, I don't think it's worth the effort.

Consider this: Most relationships don't work out. In a workplace, if they don't work out, things can get awkward at work or even worse. So getting involved with her means that the odds are strongly in favor of trouble in your life.

Generally, it's better not to get involved at work. One possible exception: If you are looking for a permanent mate, and she seems like exactly what you are looking for and you know you are falling hard for a class act...in a case like that, you might consider risking job problems. Because true love is hard to find. But as for anything less than that, I'd skip it.
