Things are starting to look up.
Today was the first day of training for my new job. So far, it is laid back and treats their employees with respect. That’s basically what the trainer has presented. They don’t want us to lie to the customers and say we don’t work from home. As a matter of fact, they encourage us to be honest, because they want the customers to trust us. Another plus is, they don’t complain about average handle time for calls.
I love that. It’s so far better than the other jobs that always rush their employees, and will fire them if they always have long calls, or the customer figures out they are working from home. It’s not a good environment if you are always stressed about everything, whether it be the long calls (because the customer needs more than one thing) etc.
This company is so far a gem. And even though it’s not part time like I wanted, it’s still so much better than the job I had before.
