I Have a New Job

I recently started a new job last week. Today I’m sick as a dog and I had to call off. I feel bad but I work with children and I didn’t want to spread my virus. 😞 I said I would be sure to bring a doctor’s note as proof when I return to work but now I’m scared I’ll be fired because I’m on a 90 day probation.

Be honest and true and all will work out. It’s common to get sick while working with kids your first year. You can always come to work with a mask if you feel you need to. Employers are weird they hate you when you’re sick at work, they hate you when your absent from work. You can’t make anyone happy, let your heart and mind lead you. But avoid being absent for more that am day or two, because they can’t find replacements. If they put u on probation, next time go to work. Let them send you home. Their mentality is that even a sick mother has to care for her children.
