I Am Who I Am

I am alone but I am not lonely.
I like a drink but I like to stay in control.
I like companionship over relationships.
Others don't see me the way I see me and I am OK with that.
I believe I open to others more then others open to me.
Life has been kicking my ass but the fight has a few rounds left.
I appreciate the life others build for themselves without being envious.

That is part of who I am.
