Frequent Food Disappointment

I'm from New York and I'm used to really good restaurants. Now I live in Florida and I love it here, but the food is less delicious.
Almost every time I eat out, I'm disappointed. It lacks something. Or have a reached a point where I'm approaching middle age in a few years, and I've already had everything? Has food lost it's magic? It could just be that I'm a spoiled New Yorker...or it could be that the best of my eating has already passed by.

I'm originally from NY too and I live in NH. I have to travel far and wide to get a decent meal that I would have gotten just walking down the block before. I still haven't found a decent Chinese restaurant here. Bleah. It's not you, it's the rest of America's palate! 😂

@AthrillatheHunt Noooo! No mustard. I like them plain. I don't know if the recipe and the location changed over the years but they used to be on Houston street too. Katz's, is that the deli that closed down on 2nd Ave? Did they relocate to Houston? I bet Yonah Schimmels makes their knishes for them. Anyway, needless to say, it's been a while for me. If it's the same Katz's, get me a beef tongue sandwich on seedless rye with deli mustard and some of their super sour pickles. And a Dr. Brown's black cherry soda.

@AthrillatheHunt Yeah. I'm old. I've never been a fan of the Cel-Ray. Black cherry is my favorite. I like the cream soda too. My mother used to put milk in it. Yum.
