I lost a friendship

I met this guy on EP a few years ago. We were online friends for five years and connected on a deep level. We were like soul mate friends. Most of it had to do with misunderstandings, miscommunication and the way we both handled things differently.

But I know people come into your life for a reason and only for a season. I'm a little disappointed because it's like people don't stay in my life that long. But at least we ended our friendship on good terms and I knew in my heart that he wasn't the one for me anyways.

It's sad to see these sort of messages on here, and I know how deep these online relationships can be at times, and how shallow. I got very close to a lovely woman here, we were in touch almost daily for quite a long time. It wasn't clever really as both are married and thought it was just some naughty fun. Which it was and if it had stayed like that it might have been better! But we got too close and in the end had to go out separate ways. But I'm grateful for the connection...just hope she is doing well.
