I Ended a Friendship

Gtfo! Indeed......
-For five years, the two of them were my best friends. We were always together, thick or thin, it didn't matter. Until they set up an elaborate prank with the goal of extorting 500 euros by threatening me anonymously. The cops didn't find that funny, and neither did I. Now they hate my guts. As for me, I don't give a damn about them, as long as they stay as far away from me as possible.

I don't think I'll ever know if it was just a prank, or something more. But I suspect, much like the police, that it probably started of as a prank that got out of hands.
