I come here often looking for something and just as often go away feeling like I never found it. Is that a common feeling on SW or am I just looking for the wrong thing and/or looking in the wrong place?

I think it's a common feeling almost everywhere online. For me, digital connections don't feel as "substantial" as real life ones do. It's just a little too hollow to be fulfilling.
