I Am a Realist

My realism is often mistaken for arrogance. Of course it is, people would rather believe one to be giving pretentious outlook than be faced with a truth that hurts too much. But that's only human nature, accusing one of being in the wrong when they're all too right.

OMG... if this isn't the boldest display of arrogance EVER. Let me explain this to you in the simplest of terms. First, you didn't necessarily do anything wrong by making your statement, so I don't want you to think you have anything to apologize for. But, come on! For real?

Your lack of sincerity is overwhelming. I get that you are trying to rationalize your arrogance in an attempt to make-up for all the insults you have used to intimidate those you think are threatening your self-image. And, yes, I realize you feel threatened by me in that way. But, until you can be honest about your intentions, your motivations, and your actions... well.. literally you are not going to be able to convince me you are a realist. But, here's the thing... I won't count you out. In fact, I am rooting for you.
