I really am diabetic

The choice on sw is I am not diabetic and I am pre-diabtic.
I am diabetic type 1. I was diabetic since I was a kid. My blood glucose right now is 3.1 which is not hunkydory! I am swigging lucozade as I write.

@SW-User You know why my lucozade bottle is open and by my side! My college is so lovely. They have dextrose tablets in all the buildings. And if I ask for one, the technician wanders in about 15 minutes later pretending to look for something but he's really checking to see if I'm ok!
Are you in college still or school?

@SW-User It's just how I have been. I am just practising the skills I was taught in the 2nd year but never had time to practise again. I made a ring and I am making a chain to extend a bracelet. You are going to love Art School!

@SW-User Sophie. Never worry about being diabetic. My class teacher put dextrose tablets in three different places round the college. And she replaces them if I need them! And when we go out on trips it's a huge joke. The ceramics teacher fills in a form for the class and another one for me! We can do anything! I think we sometimes do even more just to show we can!

@SW-User Same here mostly. But I am a trainee lifeguard. It really messes me up when I take my pump off!

@SW-User I used to. Except it was four times a day. My friend in swimming club wears her pump on her arm and doesn't even need to take it off! I have to test my bg and work out my carbs and it sends the amount of insulin by blu tooth. Sometimes I feel I am only half human and the rest is machine!
