Loved his asceticism even more than his great songs and smooth elderly persona. Was just really pissed, once only, when I saw a doco about him where he cancelled a concert on the night, I think in Israel, because he wasn't feelin' the vibe.

@UpForItNow I don't know when that happened; years ago he defied, people calling him to boycott Israel for issues of poltics... He wouldn't, saying that real connection offered just a little more.

I actually prefer his works that aren't always his most known.
