I'm a veteran, but I think there is a special place for those veterans who 75 years ago(The greatest generation) on this
day were involved in the D-Day Operation. They are passing by the thousands, but today we need to be particularly aware of their service and sacrifices.

What set them apart was their willingness to serve. They knew, most of them, that they would probably give their lives, but they did not shirk what they saw as their duty.
Today they are burying a 96 year old veteran of Omaha beach, Carl Mann, who won seven silver stars and the purple heart.
