what proof do the Space Scientists have to think that Space or the Universe is expanding ? , when i think that the Big Bang is still sending Planets and solar systems outward more from the initial happening causing the illusion that the Universe is expanding

i think a lot of it has to do with the fact that, if their theory of the big bang was to be accurate, the universe would have to be still expanding, since we are pretty sure theres nothing to really slow the movement down

@HeWhoLaughs i think the universe is as its always been , never ending but the planets and stuff within the universe are still moving outward and the edge of the universe is where you can't see any more planets or solar systems because they're not out there yet so its still unoccupied space but still also within our universe
