I was, but I had difficult parents. There was a lot of verbal abuse on both ends. Some physical abuse too. I cut school, smoked cigarettes and later pot. Stole the family car a couple of times for joyrides. Probably don't remember even half the stuff I did.

Behavior: did that transition into adulthood? Smoking, stealing from family? Or would you say, you changed?

@Mindful I joined the military out of high school. Four years later I was a different person. I had some skills, some self esteem, and the first hint of maturity.
