Do you go bush so you can see the animals that live there?

I am regularly in the bush hoping to see that elusive Echidna or Numbat.
I drive to my chosen place, which I study before hand.
Many times I will sit hidden near to a river or lake, though most times I am deep in the forest where there is no water.
What to take with you to view those rarely seen critters?
Number one is Binoculars, a chair, a broad rimmed hat. A zoom camera, waterproof clothing if wet, (Some of my best times in the bush are when it is raining)
Prepare yourself easily consumed food, not stuff that needs to be Barbecued.....
One wants to make as little noise as possible.
I sit for hours in the one spot and let the critters come to me.
Very difficult to move stealthily through the bush, remember, the critters will hear and see you before you see them.(Unless they are on the hill across the way.
Don't take your dog with you.
Pleasure will be yours when the local fauna wanders within eyeshot.
Immense pleasure is yours when a mob of Kangaroos, up to 50, slowly move through, grazing.
Pleasure is yours when a snake slithers close by.
I once was sitting quitely when a four foot Tiger Snake came and inspected my boots then nonchalantly went on it's way.
Animals have keen senses but if you stay quite and blend in, they may ignore you completely
Our Aussie Animals will not harm you if you show them no malice.
Leave them alone and they will leave you alone.

I LOVE going into the bush. Problem is 99% of all girls now shave.
