I Have to Say It Like It Is Sometimes and Get It Off My Chest

The guy I’m hanging with right now is nothing serious. He’s really respectful and funny but we’re not going to develop into a relationship. He’s 21 and I’m 25. And I’ll soon be 26 and eventually I’m going to want to settle down and he’s not there yet. I agreed to see him because my coworker arranged it but I’ve had a good time with him. I think being around him has made me realize what I want in a man.

I enjoy his pretense. But I need somebody older.

Keep going out with him and maybe you will learn that he really is the right guy and he will want to "settle down". I worked with my wife for 13 years before we figured out that we were perfect for each other. Now we have been married for 26 years. Man, we are really old is what you are thinking isn't it? But we are still in our 20's in our minds and bast ass crazy.

That is the plus side of dating someone and thinking that it was a waste of time!! You discover not only what you don’t want but also what you do want in a man

You gotta do what's best for you and him. Gauge what you both want and if it's not really lining up then probably best to part ways.

Part of dating. Figuring out little things u really like. And other things u just can't handle!

Awesome, it's good to learn from each experience and encounter
Sounds like you're doing it right.
relationships are always a path to a something closer to what you want at that moment in life until you have found what you want. When that happens hopefully you've chosen well and you don't need to go any further than that.
