@Harriet03 TBH I thought about it but my ex is the only guy I have ever been with like that. I've slept in the same bed as the guy I kissed and it was nice just not sleeping alone. As for being intimate with someone else, I just personally and emotionally don't think I'm ready and IDK if I ever will be.

It's self-sabotage to allow it.
If he doesn't want the two of you to be labeled as a couple, and truly cares about you, he wouldn't want you to be on stand by.
This guy basically only cares about himself.
Tell him - you do your thing and I will do my thing. If there comes a day when you know what you want, and that's me - then if I'm still available, we'll talk, but I am not sitting alone until if/when that happens.
