I Was Fired

When I received my termination paper, I didn't know I was under a 90 day probation period. I didn't know what this was and after reading about it, to me it's messed up that some companies go by this with new employees and can fire them at any time without warning for anything. Before I was fired, in one class, I was working with five special needs kids in an art class, I couldn't work with all of them and felt overwhelmed. I was very close to asking my supervisor if there can be another para in the class to help out, since in other classes I've been to there were two para-teachers working with special needs students. If I had asked, I wonder if my supervisor would have fired me for that?

I fired an employer during their 3 week probation period. The paperwork implied that they were on probation too and I could quit without notice at any point during those 3 weeks, so I quit. If an employer doesn't treat decent employees humanely, they don't deserve them.
eurgh, dodged a bullet working for such a callous company that doesn't value people.

Sometimes a blessing is hidden in harsh reality. If you could not do the job then you are better off trying to find another one than trying to keep doing what you don't have the talent to do. Nothing wrong with you. Simply you are trying to be a round peg in a square hole. It wasn't working for either of you. Now you are free try something new.

I feel your pain. I lasted two weeks in an engineering factory. Technician, "You'll be taking classes for a week. If you pass then great! If not then we'll contact your line manager and see what we can do..."

You can guess wha the "See what we can do" meant. I didn't realise! I assumed they'd give more training! How naive n foolish.

OH! BTW my line manager wasn't informed. Two tecchies/ trainers decided my fate (teaching done in different building to where actual work/ line managers were).

So sorry for you.
That is the state of the Corporate world today. Use and abuse of employees.
All with the backing of the Government. Just another scam going.
Companies have no shame and it is the little worker that always suffers.
Down with the Corporate World😡
