I Am So Weird

This is crazy, when I was young (10-12 years old) I took tap dance lessons. I eventually quit mostly because I realized how difficult it was for my mother to come up with the money for the lessons. I was actually pretty good and my mother was told by more than one instructor that I had the talent to go places with my dancing. I enjoyed dancing back then, I never did a recital because dancing with the girls in class scared the hell out of me. I did once perform in a school talent contest and won, but never a recital. Here is the weird part, I am now a fat middle aged old man and suddenly I have a desire to try taking lessons again! I am so out of shape though so I don't even know if it is worth the expense.

Baby steps...start with something (walking, swimming, yoga) to limber you up and get you back into shape and then go for it. You already have the experience and are familiar with it. Maybe it's like riding a bike. I have never played golf a day in my life, never even had the slightest of interest in it, and I've decided to give it a whirl. I want to try new things for as long as my body allows. By the way...yoga is crazy good for your body. I started a year ago and it's amazing how well the human body responds. There are too many benefits to list..truly. Good luck to you. 馃檪

It will be an opportunity for you to get back into shape. Who knows, it could add years to your life. You should seriously consider it. You will probably never regret it.

@Byron8by7 I was just browsing online looking for a dance instructor in my area and it doesn't appear any of them accept adult students so it looks like I am out of luck unless I just buy the shoes and start dancing just for the fun of it...which is not out of the question
