I Am Scared of Relationships

I just noticed this group in my home feed.
I felt like I needed to put up a post here. I've been putting up a bug front for six months about how I'm free now and single life is great but.... Side bar.... Truth be told... I'm afraid to try to be with someone. There are no prospects though so it's not like I'm in immediate vicinity of a possible relationship.
I can officially say I'm a failure at dating so it might just be better for me to give up. It wouldn't be the end of the world right.
Food for thought I guess.. Wow this wasn't meant to be pondering of the year but it's a sore spot so off I babbled.
I doubt anyone will comment though so I think it's all good... Lol

i feel the same way sometimes. not so much afraid to be with someone though i do have that fear. but definately not very hopefull i will ever meet someone. seems better to give up that way u don't get disappointed. it's still possible i guess & if it's meant to be it will happen 1 way or another. saying that to myself helps a little. but it doesn't make me feel any less lonely.
