What the next order could be around August
When i can afford it, my collection shall grow in these regards
CRITERION sets
1. The Zatoichi series of 25 films
2. Lone Wolf and Cub
3. Bruce Lee: His Greatest Hits
Studio Canal sets for
4. Jean Pierre Melville
5. Luis Bunuel
6. Jean Luc Godard - most of these 3 directors here will be sweet upgrades, and i hope by purchasing these fate will wink at me and there will be more dazzling and more complete releases soon after
7. The Louis Malle Collection - from Curzon Artificial Eye, bare bones but 10 films on Blu-ray, for less than 10 dollars per film, doesn't scream deal, it whispers it.
and
8. Carl Dreyer - the BFI 4 disc set, along with Criterion upgrades for Vampyr and The Passion of Joan of Arc, plus Eureka's release of Michael. At long last i will have a collection for one of the greatest film directors ever to be proud of.
Time, oh time, please pass swiftly and smoothly so that the next thing i know i'll be enjoying these things!
Numbers 3 and 7 may change either to reduce total price, or make room for other items like the Blu-ray of The Human Condition.
