I Love a Clean House
My Mother in law does not clean. Like, ever. She will do laundry and start the dishwasher and that's as far as she goes. So most of it is left to me because I will not and can not live in a filthy house if I have the use of my arms and legs.
So I took the opportunity while she is away for a few hours to dust the entire house, do all my laundry, sweep and mop the floors, and disinfect all the kitchen surfaces. She told me once, "I dont hate cleaning, I just hate having to move all the clutter to clean under it." SO THROW OUT THE CLUTTER!!! She is keeping so much bullshit- broken picture frames, broken lamps, old matchbooks, an entire BUCKET of lighters, ages-old phone books, faded old fake flowers, etc. She doesn't use ANY of it. But I have offered to help her organize a yard sale, and she refuses.
I do not understand this woman AT ALL. I'm so glad I'm not a hoarder.
