I Am An Atheist

I'm an atheist because I question everything. The bible doesn't make sense. Too many contradictions.

Word. I don't need some book telling me I'm inherently bad and therefore I must pour money into a place of worship in order to "cleanse" myself.

Are you serious. You can easily find the contractions online. I'm no going to lie and say I know everything written in the Bible. I do my research online. Here you go:

Read it then let's have a discussion:

Quoting the Bible is proof. Explain to me how what they said on the website isn't proof that the Bible contradicts itself. I'm so fucking confused. Unconfuse my tiny little brain please. In other words, dumb it down so that even a stupid little atheist like me can understand it. Thanks in advance.

Had you read it you would've known that they said these were "far from a complete list of fallacies and contradiction."

What are some of the contradictions you have found?
Why does it fall to me to explain anything? In your OP, you said you were an atheist and it seemed to be because of contradictions in the Bible. So why don't you tell us some of those more compelling contradictions that convinced you? And you'll also need to confirm why you are certain that the passages which form a contradiction aren't poetry and how your understanding of ancient Hebrew and Greek preclude any other interpretation. Since you question everything, I think you'll agree that's a minimum amount of thoroughness. And since we're talking about the contradictions that are foundational to your atheism, these should be the original contradictions you learned about, not those you just figured out after having been asked for examples 3x.
After all that, it may be necessary that you at least give an opinion on why the writers were so amazingly incompetent as to come up some very glaring mistakes--not getting their stories straight w/each other, or even allow contradictions in adjacent sentences--and why the very educated scribes who made copies didn't redact them.

I sense sarcasm

yeah me too ^^
I don't know where to begin w/the fallacies on that page. Maybe just by saying that it's a trying-way-too-hard attempt at misinterpreting writings of poetry and allegory, possibly deliberately. But that doesn't come close to covering everything that's wrong there.
You see that's the problem: whenever an atheist says there are contradictions in the Bible, it just turns into a big bait-and-switch operation. There's never any follow-through with proof.
Funny how I heard about these contradictions *so* much more than the examples of them.

I'm an atheist too but I am a follower of Toeism.

Not sarcasm, just cheesy humor. :)
