Congratulations! I've enjoyed 40 years of flying. Some advice from mine and others experiences: Use Flight Following until you get your IR. Carry NASA forms with you. Check TFRs right after pre-flight inspection. May you never be ramp checked. Fair winds.

Do you still do any flying?I've just started training in a 172.My stomach was doing flip flops the first time we went up.Is that normal because it's a smaller aircraft.I really didn't expect it to be like that
