I Am On a Self Improvement Journey

I've always known that if you start doing the things that make you happy, you'll become happier. Even though we know this, it's difficult when we're depressed. We often feel hopeless, too tired, or unmotivated.

Well, about a week ago, I decided to just go for it. I'm dressing up again, playing with my makeup, reaching out and making new friends... and even though it felt tough at the beginning, I'm feeling the pay-off now. I'm back to feeling close to the "normal" that I want to be. My confidence is restored (most days), and I feel worth it because the qualities that I love about myself get to come out when I interact with other people.
