I Hate Racist People
You may think I had my share of racism from white people but no, it's the Indians I faced a lot of discrimination from.
I am part Indian and part Vietnamese and I lived most of time in India. I was asked by several of Indians if I eat dogs due to my Vietnamese heritage and then I was also made fun of my south Indian ancestry by mocking my accent. Those incidents weren't that bad.
The most horrible incident was when I was a rookie IT professional and I asked one of the senior employee to help me with an email. What he did next deserved him a slap because he translated the email from English to Malayalam and Vietnamese and just told me to read from that. Mind you, this is the Indian guy who pronounce calculator as 'calicator' and miscellaneous as 'malicious'. 🤦 And he thinks he speaks better English than me.
