I tend to see a lot of givers complaining about people taking from them but never getting anything back in return.

Those givers don't sound happy at all.

I agree completely, though, it hurts sometimes when people try to take advantage of my generous nature. Anyway, I won't change. :)

Lucyfuhr, the reason I endure the occasional hurt is that I am happy most of the time. Giving to others brings great happiness to me. It feels good to help others be happier. I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
