Time numbs emotion, time can eventually cause one to be stoic regarding all things. Time wounds the soul and aches the heart. Time, it moves forward with such voracity, we sometimes become lost within a world of indifference which can become mind numbing.
Time you have become the enemy of most of us who dare to think and seek truth. Who dare to dream only to realize most of our dreams never come true. Time you are so cruel and heartless.
The passage of time has no friends. Time you eventually hurt all of us, for time is never selective in its relentless piercings of the human soul. For time sometimes breaks hearts and rips apart souls.
Time you eventually catch up to every soul on this planet and see each one of us off to our impending demise. Time you are foe which can never be beaten.
Time is something no man or woman can ever conquer. For time can never be stopped, it is the relentless hammer which beats upon ever human heart and eventually wounds every human soul.
Time, may you have mercy on all of us. Time please stop and take a deep breath. Please let each one of us just catch our own breaths and maybe just live just a little longer. To live a life of meaning and not just exist in a world which is lost inside indifference.
