I Have Random Thoughts

A while back ago, I had an elderly customer approach me and complain that there were six flies in his mushroom bisque. I told him that the "flies" in his soup were in fact bits of mushroom, as it was a mushroom soup

He got mad and snapped, "It's too cold!" So I got him a new soup. After, he felt it was important to let me know that I am, in his words, 'very rude'

I was a little annoyed because I know I wasn't, but whatever

Anyway, the same man walks in some months later and when I saw him I just did as I could to avoid him. We crossed paths though when I went to swap out the tills and he said, "You smell good." I guess he doesn't remember me 😅

I thought I misheard him but my coworkers asked me about it later too haha
