I Have Random Thoughts
Everything seemed great tonight until I came home and found out the cord to my heat blanket is not working, now I'm cold af. That's what I get for using it every night to stay warm.

unless the elements in your blanket are broken I could fix it
they get broken from sitting on it
But sorry ,I'm not there ,,or I would loan you a space heater until you get a new control or blanket ,,,thrift stores sometimes have controls

@SW-User I have very old coil ones ,not the ribbon that blows out after a few years ,,and they are all steal construction ,nothing to burn
I replace the cords every few years and the receptacle ,key is aways having a tight connection or they will over heat ,melt and possibly shoot sparks
I love repairing old appliances ,before CPU's and electronic everything
maintained properly they never wear out ,,thats why you can't get them anymore
I like a radiator type in my sons room (it looks like a radiator except it oil filled ) if it were to get a blanket kicked on it ,it still couldn't cause a fire
I had a landlord give me an electric blanket for Christmas
When I moved she said I had to leave it ,,,she didn't actually buy it for me
it was for the house ,,,had I known that my present would have been for her house too LOL
The blanket shorted out on the new tenants ,,they got out
but it burnt the house to the ground ,,,,she told me many times she knew
it was Karma ,,,I had always been so good to her (I remodeled her kitchen )
making me leave the blanket was a shitty thing to do ,,,,
