I Have Random Thoughts
Did you ever stop and think that nature has a rhythm all its own. It is mysterious, alluring and speaks in whispers. Today, while at the waters edge, nature spoke and I listened. I envisioned myself an ancient mariner, plying the seven seas in search of wonderment and adventure. The gentle breezes gave way to forceful winds and I was taken to the North Sea, where the Vikings, strong and mighty, steadied their vessels in search of buried treasure.
The scene changed as the sun was darkened by storm clouds and I found myself tossed about in the cold North Atlantic admist the perfect storm.
During this imaginative adventure, my thoughts were
interrupted by the cawing of a black crow directly overhead. It took flight with power and grace as it delivered its message and then disappeared into the horizon. Native American Indians understood the language of nature as they believed spirits inhabited the body of birds and warned of imminent doom or disaster. The message for me today was clear, if you are attune to your own inner spirit, you, too, will decipher the mysteries of the universe as it taps into our own life force and gives us answers to what we seek. If only we stop the busyness around us and listen, we will hear volumes in whispers.
