I Am Too Nice

One time, another user here asked me to add them to their circle, saying how they had added me two years ago at that point and that I never added them back. What I wanted to say to them was "How about you take the hint?" 😂 I almost did too, but then I started feeling bad. I didn't dislike them, they were just, idk, weird. Just rubbed me the wrong way. I might've commented on their posts sometimes but I didn't really trust them or want them in my circle. But, I decided to be nice and give them a chance (much against my better judgment), so I went ahead and added them back. 🙄 Then a week or so later, I saw them posting about how they might give away their VIP account to start a new one. Yep, I knew I was going to regret adding them. When will I learn to stop being nice and to just follow my damn instincts? 🤦‍♀️
