I Am Prone to Inappropriate Laughter

Nothing But The Truth... In my final year of high school, we all had to go watch a play for English class. The play was entitled "Nothing But The Truth". The theater was packed with my fellow class mates and a few teachers, and all were silent during the play. All but I.

There is a scene in the play where one of the main characters finds out that her father is not her father. This revelation of course led to her bursting out in tears. To me, some people just look funny when they cry... that actress just happened to be one of them. So I burst out into laughter.

I could feel the heat of a hundred eyes searing me. This naturally included a dirty glare from my own English teacher. Luckily the theater was dark and I could sink back into my seat. The play continued, ignoring my outburst of inappropriate laughter and the audience went back to watching it. Embarassment is sure to follow any who are prone to inappropriate laughter.

I agree n understand what your saying n have been through a very similar experience myself. It was in my days of college in my literature class. One of the foreign exchange girls in the class pronounced Jesus as Jejus and I just couldn't stop laughing. Eventually I was thrown out of class that dag
