I Am Confused

I'm just really hesitant to ask my dad to borrow his car for taking the gift to the store to get wrapped because...what if my friend ends up dropping the plan again, cuz my mom's gonna mock me for it. 🙊 and say something like "you put in so much effort for people when no one's giving a shit about you"

Ugh I'm so conflicted.

Ask your Dad.
Try not to be swayed by your Mother or anyone else.
Will it worry you if she does scoff at your actions? If she does mock you, simply say, in a pleasant tone, "Thanks for your support Mum"
