I Am Treated Like a Child

@lilyjames At your age it is comomn to have that kind of complaint. Sometimes it is true, most of the times it is not. What makes it differnt for you is that you never had the opportunity to just be a kid. You were forced to deal with situations in life that many adults are not forced to deal with. This is something your family cannot really understand. All they see is the little 12 year old girl. All you can do is let them treat you that way. As you get older they will learn to listen to you and discover that you are much older than they ever thought. But it takes time...try to enjoy just being a kid.

@lilyjames You may find that you are getting along with older people easier than with people of your own age. Older people tend to be more patient, giving you the space to be more confortable and the time to formulate the words to express what you really want to say. However not all older people are like that. My advice would be that whatever friends you make, make sure you intriduce them to your Uncle/Auntie. They will be able to give you the guidance you may need.
I am not a shrink or anything. I just had my experiences in life...lol.
