@lilyjames You may find that you are getting along with older people easier than with people of your own age. Older people tend to be more patient, giving you the space to be more confortable and the time to formulate the words to express what you really want to say. However not all older people are like that. My advice would be that whatever friends you make, make sure you intriduce them to your Uncle/Auntie. They will be able to give you the guidance you may need.
I am not a shrink or anything. I just had my experiences in life...lol.
