I Wear Make Up

My grandad asked if I was okay and I threw a chair at him so he took my make up away! I'm gonna look dreadful!

They did that, and maybe that was an overreaction, but I think (and hope) that it was just this once. That doesn't mean they do it again or that they started a new habit there. I understand that it upsets you, especially if you're not used to that ever happening. Your grandparents are of a different generation than your parents (with different ways) and they were probably a bit overwhelmed. They are not used to having chairs thrown at them either. I'm sure they mean well though, and that they didn't want to treat you that way. Sometimes things happen in the heat of a situation. It doesn't mean they love you any less. The situation is as uncomfortable to them as it is to you. Give it a bit of time. You'll be good together again.
It's sad that you can't speak to your parents about it. I'm sorry about that. I hope things will get better very soon.
