When I experienced this with my daughter, it was never about whether good and evil were involved but my concern and fear for her path, that it would be difficult. I did not voice those concerns to her, but they troubled me.

Your mom's first instinct was to accept. I think it's likely she will come back around to that, given time. Remember she hasn't had as long as you have to consider it. I know it's painful for you, but if she tries to understand you, try to understand her.

Hey man you are who you are its got bugger all to do with god or the devil ignore her .

I guess she probably has strong feelings about it and probably thinks she is doing the right thing. Ultimately, though, it's not going to change who you are, and she's the one who is eventually going to have to accept it.

Sorry it's tough right now, though.

I am sorry she doesn't understand. I commend you for having the courage to be honest. She loves you and will eventually come around to some level of acceptance.
