Not weird, it's a form of self protection. It's sad though that you have been betrayed often enough that you have low expectations. I hope you can find some who cherishes & is totally loyal to you.

1) Most marriages fail and even a long term relationship later in life is not that popular...some seek out a polyamorous scenario so that up front you know what to expect...honestly monogamy is way overrated...
2)For God's sake, be responsible when you have sex...no need to pass diseases!

nothing to werid about i think as when you continue in a relation you are well known to all facts about it and your partner so you can guess his nature too in this matter only it's differ that the grade of cheating or how far he/she can go in to cheating
