I Used to Think That Wind Could Blow Me Away
Hello friends!
Like many of you here, I very much enjoy the wind. Given there have been some pretty strong winds around the world recently, I think this is a good time to find others in the community.
To share my own experience: In March of this year, we had a massive nor'easter come through. Probably the most windy day I've ever seen. And I managed to go out in it, to one of the windiest places in my city. I could only stay out for maybe 20 minutes as it was raining and very cold, but wow was it an experience. I got pushed around almost the entire time, and others were having the same fate. Once, I got knocked to the ground and blown along the ground for maybe 5 feet, eventually grabbing and holding on tight to a concrete structure in the ground. To most this would probably be annoying or scary, but for me it was one of the most exciting days of my life.
