I Am An Asian

I am an Asian. I came to the US for my higher education. During these years, people have usually looked at me with curiosity because I am short, brown eyes, yellow skin, and long hair. Some classmates are eager to help me while the others do not talk with me no matter how hard I tried. My friend has recently asked me why Asians were so cheap to be used as jokes from daily life to tv shows. I have watched those shows but it does not mean that is how we are. Those shows are for laughing from imaginary stories but many Americans forget this main point. I think that many Americans are too weak to learn about the others so they prefer ignoring and laughing.

Lots of ignorant people out there who are still afraid of anyone different. Mostly trump supporters and that ilk. Many Americans are not like that...I would say most...it will never stop in your life but how you deal with it is the most important part. I have been the butt of people' jokes and scrutiny and judgments all my life for various reasons. I accept that it will never stop. I have a sense of humor about it and sometimes take the opportunity to teach people that I am different but ok...teachable moments.

@Fernie I have to agree with you that many trump's young supporters are like so . Maybe Trump's slogan motivates their hooligan spirits. I hope you will keep peace, raise your voice and move on there. Sometimes I feel like our Asians are monsters who get over storms when I see American complains for any very little things while those things are nothing at all for us.

@Fernie "Mostly trump supporters and that ilk." That was a totally ignorant snowflake comment typical for a liberal. I and my wife are both Trump supporters. Try listening to what is being brought out about Hillary and Obama in the last two days my ignorant snowflake; they found that Hillary was the one paying the Russians to run the dirty campaign stuff and, both she, Billie and Obama sold were responsible for selling 20% of our weapons grade uranium illegally to the Russians. Billie Clinton made $145 million off that deal. Try having an open mind and not be a liberal sheep as our education system has taught you to be rather than teach you worthwhile subjects with out allowing to pass with a F grade work as schools here in the USA do.

@acpguy I am also a Trump supporter. I live in Florida in which there are many Trump supporters. Old people are fine but young people are really hooligans to support Trump and feel so proud of being Americans. I usually hear them saying "F***, this is America" and " Everyone loves Americans"

@wildflower12 That is a lot different from our area in the Midwest and from what I have seen of the West and East Coast where it is the liberal young people that are the most violent and use vile language. Where did you ever see conservative young people doing destructive protests at places in California or New York?
