I Think Certain Things Are Over Rated But I Still Like Them

Love to me is over rated. It shouldn't be that way though.
People say they love "x" and they love "y". But then later they find something that is better. Or not really better but new so they replace or add on to what they previously say they love.
Which is why when someone says they love me I take it with a grain of salt because they love so many other things it's hard to tell if they really do-love.

Sounds a rather cynical view of love. I find love is allot like time and understanding. If someone can understand you, their love is comforting. Whether it is a matter of better looking, better pronounced or better understanding I don't know what you'd want. But love, really only seems overrated if you compare yourself to other things your lover would care about. It sounds bitter and jealous.

@twistedrope: it is realistic. A person may say they love you one day and then, after years,or even days forget about it and find someone else.
