I Am Asian

I'm Korean and I feel like I can never live up to the expectations. When people in other countries think of Koreans, often they think of people who look perfect like the kpop idols, and I don't look the part.

@ReaperofTime: We found this small little joint in Anjeung-ri for my going away party, me and my replacement ordered galbi and told the server to make it as spicy as possible.

5 minutes later people were heading for the exits like a riot gas grenade had gone off, and she hadn't even put it on the grill yet. It was pretty damn tasty.

@Booyeah: Those are always the BEST places to go. The little hole in the wall. True. You need NBC to inhale the fumes sometimes. But. Its well worth it. To this day. Id eat it wherever I could find it.

@Booyeah: The only food I couldn't quite get used to was some of the Kurdish cuisine in the opening phases of OIF. Some of the guys I remember hit the Corpsman up within the hour. Doing the Hadji two step. Lol. But bless their hearts. They were very nice folks. Gracious hosts.
