School is no place for them, if they are at risk I understand. But they cannot ALL have medical conditions.

How fucking stupid. The video that is, not you. This type of namby pamby silly prima donna pretentiousness is what I hate about the Left. And I used to be a leftist, in the 1980s. The kind of mentality in this video, along with other issues, is what caused me to eventually reject the Left. And even when I was a leftist, I hated that type of hand wringing vain pretentiousness.

The media wants you to think all teachers are in fear for their life. Most want to do what is best for the children and that is "in class" teaching. But the media does not want you to hear about that. I understand if you are in a "high risk" group then that is a different story. What is funny is that these teachers that do not ant to have face to face teaching still go to the grocery store and have their nails and hair done with out thinking twice about it. The cashier at the grocery store has a whole lot more exposure than the teachers do and they go to work every day.

@Funtoy4u Yes...I think it is important that if the teachers are going to now be classified as non-essential workers AND receive unemployment for these little tutu prancing times, they should not be allowed to leave their homes AT ALL.

And if they do, they should lose their unemployment.

@4meAndyou yes, but CTU is not part of the NEA. In fact, I have VERY reliable sources that tell me they basically can't stand CTU because they're so radical.

this online learning is a joke no matter how good the teachers are it doesn’t compare to learning in a classroom setting. No hands-on learning in art, sports, music, etc. Just playing around like they are using Pinterest or something.

@4meAndyou Another concern is that children home all day with one out-of-work parent who may be drinking at home sets the children up for child abuse. The police is my city have reported double the calls for domestic violence in 2020 as in the previous year.

@SW-User I saw him this morning. In a two parent family, ONE parent can't work while these tutu a-holes are prancing around. THAT usually means something is not getting paid...either insurance, or mortgage, or rent, or food or car payments.
